About the Tarot Sisters
“Kristin has read my cards for years. She's able to tap into the spirit of the cards as well as their meaning. Her readings have provided me insight, hope, and fresh perspective on many sensitive personal subjects. I almost suspect the existence a Rom ancestor somewhere in the Tarot Sisters' lineage, the readings are that good.”

Kristin
I’ve been reading Tarot for about 20 years. I became fascinated with Tarot at the ripe age of twelve, lulled to sleep each night by the sound of my older sister Kelley’s rhythmic shuffling of cards in the bedroom next door. I was young and impressionable and my sister was more than happy to indoctrinate me into the mysterious world of Tarot. Thus began my lifelong love affair with working the cards. In the beginning I read for myself. Then I began doing readings for friends and family.
Before the World Wide Web became a household name, I subscribed to an online service called Quantumlink. With my Commodore 128 computer and a 400 baud modem, I began reaching out in chat rooms to others interested in the spiritual arts. One night a woman named Sandra logged on and said she had recently lost a dear friend in a plane crash. Sandra had never had a Tarot reading, but her deceased friend was very enamored of the Tarot, and Sandra was looking for someone to do a reading in her honor.
I’d never done a remote reading before, but offered my services to Sandra gratis to help her commemorate her late friend. The reading was powerful for both of us, and very useful to her. I realized new technology could make the Tarot even more accessible to people all over the world. So I started doing readings via chat and instant messenger. It takes a bit more concentration and effort than doing them in person, but it is equally rewarding.
After several years I began doing readings at parties, bridal showers and after-proms. During college, I did readings for a steady stream of clients, and developed a dedicated following in Boston, where I lived for a decade.
In 2004 I decided to move to the West Coast in search of adventure, fine coffee, and good music. Living in tech savvy Seattle, home of Microsoft and Amazon, I realized I needed to take my Tarot online again and reach out to as many people as possible. I mentioned my plans for Web Tarot to my sister, and she was excited to join me. So here we are, two tarot sisters, at your service. I hope to read for you soon!

Kelley
For years I read Tarot cards for friends and family, before branching out to read cards at picnics, parties, and Project Graduation extravaganzas. My husband is continually amazed by the number of people running up to me at gatherings to tell me, “Your reading for me came true!” Because of this, he’s too nervous to have me read for him.
Occasionally, over the years I’ve gone to other readers. It’s hard to read for myself sometimes – I’m too close to the subject matter to be objective! (Hence the relentless shuffling of cards that Kristin recalls from her childhood.)
When I’ve gone to other readers, I find that the ones I feel most comfortable with are down to earth, honest, and direct. They read what’s there, and they help me to draw out the concerns I have, and look at them from a different perspective. That is always my aim when working with clients.
Currently, I live in Connecticut and work mostly with private clients by appointment. When Kristin told me she wanted to take this live to the web, I decided it was a perfect opportunity for me as well. It feels important to me to share the gift of reading the cards with other people, just as I enjoy sharing the gift of Reiki healing. Because having your cards read can be so clarifying and helpful for people, it makes sense to be able to do this on a wider (world wide!) scale.
